Details
This bike began as a design project for the makers of Linear Recumbents and has evolved into one the most maneuverable and novice friendly recumbents out there. Most test riders have found the Roadster easy to ride and maneuverable (it will do a U turn in a single lane.) It weighs ~33 LB, not bad for a rugged, comfy bike with dual disk brakes. The under seat steering (USS) is a great alternative ride feel to the more traditional "tweener" bars found on most other short wheel base recumbents. Winner of the 2011 Bentrider Recumbent of the Year, this comfortable ride will serve you well be it back and forth from the store or on a hundred mile fitness ride.
