In 1976, the Trek Bicycle Company was formed in Waterloo, WI producing bicycles inside a red barn. Trek grew quickly with a reputation of producing some of the best bikes ever made. They are still based in Waterloo, WI today. More Tours de France have been won on Trek than any other bicycle, and racers continue to win and break records in every discipline on Treks. They are one of the most well recognized and innovative brands in cycling.
