Details
Up for auction is a (what we believe) 1920's Rambler Junior Roadster.
The Rambler headbadge is in good shape.
Bicycle is in remarkably good shape.
Nickle is starting to rust away, and in some cases (rear hub) almost gone.
Tires are in ok shape (they aren't falling off the rims).
Rims are metal clad wood, painted red to match. Cant tell if the rims were chromium plated at one time and are now just rust or if they were once painted.
Tires are 28" Wards Riverside Runabout V
New Departure hubs Model A rear hub and model and maybe an M in the front- nickle is rough. Coaster brake will need to be rebuilt - it stops, but barely. Front axle was broken and replaced.
Red paint is still in decent condition - certainly not perfect, but definitely red.
Troxel saddle is original and in good shape except for the nose pulling off the seat frame.
Fenders match the red paint and seem original. Rear fender has a large red jewel as a reflector.
Handlebar and stem are original but need to be re-nickled - missing most of the nickle.
Skiptooth chain is in great shape and works.
*****Left pedal is welded to the crank. Right pedal has different design using the red rubber blocks.
Serial number D6853. the D is backwards. Numbers found on the bottom of the bb (crank hanger).
