Details
This is a vintage 1941 Schwinn built Chicago Cycle Supply Sports Tourist mens model in the enameled black color. This all original bicycle is a one owner bicycle. The original owner traded this bicycle in for his daughter. He originally puchased it in Sheboygan, WI. He used it daily to deliver papers and rode everywhere with it. It kept him in good health.
All chrome (except the handlebar) is in rough shape and needs some shining/cleaning. Some rust on the frame or fork. The decals are rough but readable. The Liberty on the downtube is half faded away, and the seattube decal is fading out. Most of the dual pinstripes are fading out also. The headbadge is in good shape.
This bike has not been tuned up mechanically will require some work to make it into a daily rider.
The bike hasn't been touched since Fritz stopped riding it - lots of dirt, grime, grease, and some corrosion. It'll need some work.
