Details
This is a vintage 1961 Columbia Fire Arrow middleweight bicycle. This bicycle is all original except for the grips, seat, and maybe the tires. With a little work, this bike will be a show bike. Well, a little work and a lot of steel wool. The chrome is in good shape but is showing some defects - small spots on the fenders, light, and rack. Not rust, but not perfect either. We didn't touch this bike mechanically and we haven't cleaned it. It was put on display 25 years ago and just taken down for pictures/listing. All decals on the bike are in ok shape, except that the chrome arrow on the chainguard is a starting to peel off. Also some scratches on the tank decals and the seat tube has a license glued on it.
Right under the tank on the downtube, the paint is starting to bubble with some rust. Not through the metal, but its there.
No dents that we could find - even on the fenders! There are several scratches on frame/chainguard/tank.
Pedals are the original black colored block style. Still nice.
Original tank is in great shape and even has the original bell inside. Large white columbia button is still funcionable. Columbia decals are starting to wear. The driveside light is missing the lens, but the non-drive is all there.
Chainguard is in great shape with the decal in even better shape.
Original rear rack and front rack.
Headbadge is in great shape.
