You are buying 1966 (built in May in Chicago) Schwinn Heavy Duty bicycle. This HD is mostly stock, except for the saddle and tires. The tires were recently replaced with a set of new whitewalls. Also, the Troxel triangle super cushion saddle was not quite stock. Surprisingly comfortable, but not original.

Also, the original red color is still visible where the bike as been scratched. The current tan/yellowish color isn't horrible, just not a good strong factory color.

The HD wheels - 105g spokes - are still on the bike but will need some truing. Some of the rear spokes are not quite straight.

Very little rust on the bike - mainly only where the bike has been scratched.

We have cleaned the bicycle, but have not tuned it up. To make this rideable, it will need a complete tune-up by a professional bicycle shop.
