This is a Vintage 1966 Varsity Sport lightweight bicycle with downtube shifting and 10 speeds.  This bicycle will need some amount of work, including cleaning - a full tune, cables/housing, overhaul of hubs and bb - to make it a good rider.  This bicycle is all original, except that the for the tires and the bar tape is missing.  All original parts, seat, wheels, and components.  Also included is the generator light set.  The frame is electrowelded for strength and durability.

Shifters - Schwinn approved downtube shifters, basically a Huret shifter

Front Derailleur - Schwinn Sprint (built by Huret)

Rear Derailleur - Schwinn Sprint (Huret Allvit)

Crankset -1 piece drop forged Schwinn Sprint crankset, double rings

Pedals - 1/2" rat trap style pedals, original

hubs - Schwinn Sprint, hi flange, made in France, both need an overhaul
rims - Steel 27 x 1 1/4" rims, chrome needs lots of work and steel wool
tires - not original - Raleigh Red Dot approved black wall 27 x 1 1/4"
The wheels are out of true and have several broken spokes
