1967 Schwinn Fastback Sting-Ray

More Views

Schwinn made this frame in Chicago in November of 1966 for the frame to be built up into a 1967 model Fastback Sting-Ray. The Fastback Sting-Ray sported the 5 speed stick shift, 20" wheels, a bucket saddle and the new Mag sprocket. Here we have the frame, seatpost, stem, handlebars and crankset ready to be built up.

The Fastback Sting-Ray was introduced in 1966 and ran through 1976. It was such a popular bike that they made a version for older/bigger kids and adults called the Manta-Ray which only ran from 1971-1972 due to low demand.

This bicycle frame has only a few chips and scratches in paint, and is in good condition for year that is was manufactured. The frame is free of major damage including bends and cracks.

This bicycle is being sold as is, please see photographs for details.
