You are buying a vintage used 1969 Phillips ladies 3 speed sports style city bicycle. Manufactured in Nottingham England by Raleigh Bicycles (at this point Phillips was a subsidiary of TI/Raleigh Bicycles) and everything about this bike screams lightweight British city bike right down to the Sturmey Archer handlebar grips. This bicycle features many of the same components as it's Raleigh counterpart including the Sturmey Archer AW 3 speed hub (dated to 1969) and corresponding trigger shifter. Also comes equipped with a Phillips Vox Populi/John Bull brake caliper set. The bike retains 100% of it's original components and has been professionally tuned by one of our shops mechanics (minor tweaking may be required once re-assembled post-shipping). The paint job is in good shape on most of the frame and there is barely any rust. There are some minors chips on the frame and fenders. The paint of the chain guard is in much worse condition than the rest of the bike. The original Brooks mattress saddle has some rips in the vinyl around the edges and back of the saddle and needs cleaning. A very fine example of British bicycle craftsmanship in it's heyday. Please see photographs for details.
