1970s German Slalom 3 Speed Bicycle

Details

You could be the proud owner of this vintage used Slalom cruiser bicycle. Produced in Western Germany circa 1970 it is a very unique piece of bicycle nostalgia. It features a three speed Sachs Torpedo drive train and a comfortable riding position. The bike also has unique lug work (especially on the head tube) and gold, red and white accents throughout.

BIKE CONDITION

The bike appears to be all original with the exception of the tires and possibly the handlebars which seem somewhat narrow for this type of bike. This bike rides, shifts and brakes okay but will need a full tune up before being ready to hit the road. The blue paint is in decent shape with typical scratches, chips and marks for a bike of this age but no major dents, bends or cracks. There are small spots of surface rust in numerous places on the bike but nothing that affects it's structural integrity. Also includes a rear cargo rack, working Gloria brand rear wheel lockout (w/ key), working vintage rotating handlebar bell and front Carline generator light that has unfortunately stopped working.

This bike is being sold as-is. Please see photographs for additional details.
