You could be the proud owner of this vintage Peugeot UE8 bicycle frame. Hand built in France in 1971. Built on Peugeot's "special tubing," this French frameset includes the original Nervar chain ring, Sugino bottom bracket and Lightrace crank arm. The pedals are Lyotard metal quill pedals. There is a 26mm seat post and the original crowned and half-chromed fork with a headset that accepts a 21.8mm stem. The intricate lugs are accented at the head tube and the seat tube, the head badge is intact and the decals on the seat tube look good. Perfect for your next project or collector, this bicycle is looking for a new home and it could be yours.

BIKE CONDITION

The bike is in decent overall condition and free of bends, cracks and corrosion. Some of the decals are not as nice, such as the ones on the top tube and downtube, but they are still decipherable. The paint is chipped and the chrome is pocked. There is corrosion on the crankset and pedals. The fluted seat post is in good condition and is probably a replacement as the original was chrome.

Nothing has been done to this bicycle and we would recommend a full tune up before riding.
