This is a Vintage 1951 Schwinn balloon tire bicycle.  This bike is missing quite a bit of original parts. 
Notice that the mid-tube has a slight bend in it - similar to a Standard D-13 or a Spitfire.
Skiptooth drivetrain. 

This bike has forward facing dropouts, no kickstand, and a removable seatpost binder clamp.
This Schwinn was made on January 16, 1951 in Chicago IL.
Missing the original fenders, chainguard, handlebar, seat, and pedals.
The black fenders are in ok shape, but have a few scratches and dents.  The chrome chainguard, although its not original, is in ok.
The green paint is not quite original.
