Felt knows that road bikes have a common lineage, and that the road racer is where it all begins. The 2013 F5 carries all the features you want out in a no-compromise road racing machine: Light weight, nimble handling, a responsive feel and a comfortable ride quality. The F5’s frame is Felt’s own UHC carbon fiber produced with their proprietary InsideOut molding process for minimum weight and high strength. The oversized and tapered head tube and BB30 bottom bracket gives the F5 incredible torsional resistance for out-of-the-saddle uphill charges.

SRAM’s 10-speed Apex shifters and front derailleur are paired with a SRAM Rival rear derailleur for lightning-fast operation. An FSA 50/34T compact crankset is paired with an 11-28T cassette for a wide gearing range, while a pair of Mavic’s CXP-22 alloy rims are shod with 23mm Vitoria Zaffiro tires for a smooth ride and confident cornering. A carbon fiber seatpost is topped with a Prologo Nago Evo T2.0 saddle to give a bit more comfort over early-season miles.
