The Domane series becomes more affordable with the Domane 4.3 WSD. Trek’s proprietary 400-Series OCLV carbon fiber is used to produce a light and very comfortable frame and fork that is stable on bumpy downhills, yet responsive when the road turns skyward. The clever IsoSpeed coupler at the seat cluster allows the Domane to have more vertical flex, yet adds only a few dozen grams to the bike as a whole. It’s so simple and comfortable, you’ll wish you’d invented it yourself! Little touches like vanishing fender mounts, and an aperture for a DuoTrap speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) make the Domane 4.3 WSD a well-thought-out machine.

Shimano’s 10-speed 105 components are used for the shifters, derailleurs and brake calipers for ease of use and long life, as well as a Shimano 50/34T compact crankset and 12-30T Shimano cassette for the steepest ascents. The 105 calipers and frame spacing even allow pudgy 28mm tires for an even smoother ride. Cobblestones, anyone? The Bontrager alloy wheels and 25mm stock tires give low rolling resistance, too.
