A good carbon fiber road bike is not just about light weight or race-proven components. A good road bike must fit well and be comfortable. The ZW4 reflects Felt’s commitment to female cyclists looking for a bike to help them complete their first century or road race. The ZW4’s carbon fiber frame is not only built for light weight and comfort, but better frame geometry for a wider range of female riders. Constructed of Felt’s own UHC Performance carbon fiber material, the ZW4 soaks up fatiguing vibration found on rough and choppy pavement. A BB30 bottom bracket helps with power delivery, especially on sudden, steep inclines. The fork is also a fully carbon fiber structure, also reducing vibration and weight.

SRAM’s 10-speed Rival adjustable-reach shifters are mated to a SRAM Apex front derailleur and Rival WiFli rear derailleur for fingertip control. A SRAM 50/34T crankset is matched with a 12-32T cassette for a huge gearing range for steep climbs and long descents. SRAM also supplies the brake calipers for confident stopping power. The ZW4’s alloy Fulcrum’s Racing Sport wheels are wrapped with 23mm Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tires for positive grip in fast corners. Topping the carbon fiber seatpost is a Prologo Kappa saddle, while the alloy stem holds a shallow-drop handlebar.
