2014 Trek Domane 4.7 WSD

Colors: Charcoal/Crystal White/Grape

Sizes:  52cm

The performance and comfort of the Domane series becomes more affordable with the Domane 4.7. Trek’s proprietary 400-Series OCLV carbon fiber is used to produce a feather-light and very comfortable frame and fork that is stable on bumpy downhills, yet responsive when the road turns skyward. The Domane’s more upright tapered head tube allows for an easier fit for a wider range of rider sizes and flexibilities. The clever IsoSpeed coupler at the seat cluster allows the Domane to have more vertical flex, yet adds only a few dozen grams to the bike as a whole. It’s so simple and comfortable, you’ll wish you’d invented it yourself! Little touches like vanishing fender mounts, dual bottle mounts, and an aperture for an optional ANT+ DuoTrap speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) make the Domane 4.7 a well-thought-out machine.

Shimano’s newest 11-speed Ultegra 6800 components are used for the shifters, derailleurs and brake calipers for easy operation and long life, as well as an updated Ultegra 50/34T compact crankset and 11-28T Ultegra cassette for the steepest ascents. The Ultegra multi-pivot calipers and frame spacing even allow pudgy tires for an even smoother ride. Cobblestones, anyone? The tubeless-ready Bontrager alloy Race wheels and 25mm R2 tires give low rolling resistance, too. Bontrager also supplies the Affinity 2 saddle, shallow-drop Race VR-C handlebars, as well as a proportionally adjusted Race Lite stem length for smaller sizes.

If you’re interested in a test ride, please come in and try a Domane for yourself. The Domane 4.7 can be customized with Trek’s Project One program found on their website. Colors, components and even saddles can be selected for a one-of-a-kind machine.

A discounted bike fit session with a member of our helpful and knowledgeable staff is included with the purchase of this bicycle. Components can be substituted at an additional cost. Please call for more details.
