Time to get serious with your centuries and “challenge” rides? Felt has the right endurance machine for the job, and delivers amazing features at an impressive price. The Z3 is built around a frame made from their proprietary UHC Performance carbon fiber. Using their InsideOut mold technology, the construction of Felt’s Z3 frame all but eliminates excess material and resin, keeping weight low and producing a consistent ride quality across the size range. The Z3’s tapered head tube anchors the fork with a 1-1/2” lower bearing, giving the bike a more direct feel in high-speed turns and descents. A BB30 bottom bracket ensures flex-free power delivery for hard uphill charges. Even the fork is constructed of the same UHC carbon fiber from dropouts to the top of the steerer. The Z Series features a longer wheelbase than a harsh-riding “crit bike”, offering more stability on rough and choppy pavement. Coupled with a taller head tube, the Z3's geometry can fit a wider range of riders and flexibilities.

Shimano’s latest Ultegra components with 11-speed shifting adorn the Z3, bringing pro-quality shifting to a favorite of riders and racers alike. A 50/34T compact crankset with a lighter hollow arms is matched with an 11-32T cassette for a gearing range that helps deal with the worst inclines. Redesigned Ultegra derailleurs need less effort to change gears, and shift levers now have reach adjustability for smaller hands. Multi-pivot Ultegra brake calipers add stopping power while improving brake lever feedback. Fulcrum Racing 7 alloy wheels and Vittoria Rubino Pro tires reduce rotating weight while improving ride quality. A Prologo saddle, carbon fiber seatpost, alloy road handlebar and adjustable-angle stem complete the cockpit.

A discounted bike fit session with a member of our helpful and knowledgeable staff is offered with the purchase of this bicycle. Component substitutions can be made at an additional cost. Please call for details.
