The Domane 4-series of bicycles has been a best-seller for us, and we’re pleased to see Trek continuing the line! The Domane 4.3 offers excellent value-for-dollar for the century rider, enthusiast or first-time road bike buyer. Using Trek’s exclusive 400 Series OCLV carbon fiber, the Domane 4.3 boasts a wealth of frame features. The patented IsoSpeed decoupler found at the seat tube/top tube joint provides industry-leading vertical compliance and comfort, making the Domane the most comfortable bike over rough roads, cobblestones and broken pavement. The Domane 4.3’s oversized down tube links the BB90 bottom bracket and tapered E2 head tube for tremendous torsional resistance. Called “Power Transfer Construction”, the Domane’s refined frame tube shapes won’t result in energy-robbing frame flex during out-of-the-saddle uphill charges. The Domane’s tapered head tube gives the bike a precise feel in fast turns and descents, as well as reducing frame flex at the fork crown. Useful touches abound on the Domane 4.3, such as an aperture for an ANT+ speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) in the left chainstay. Disappearing front and rear fender mounts improve the Domane’s versatility, and a 3S integrated chain keeper ensures dropped chains are a thing of the past. The Domane 4.3’s Endurance geometry features a taller head tube to accommodate a wider range of rider sizes and flexibilities, as well as a slightly longer wheelbase for improved stability.

The Domane 4.3 is equipped with Shimano’s latest 11-speed 105 components, including the adjustable-reach dual-control shifters, front and rear derailleurs, 11-32T cassette and chain for smooth operation and long product life. The 50/34T Shimano compact crankset gives the Domane 4.3 a huge gearing range for steep inclines, while alloy Bontrager tubeless-ready wheels do their part to smooth out the road even further. A Bontrager Paradigm saddle, alloy handlebar, Race Lite stem and carbon fiber seatpost complete the cockpit of this machine.
