This is the 2012 team bike for Argos-Shimano, albeit with a more subdued paint scheme. Argos’ sprinter John Degenkolb won five stages of the 2012 Vuelta Espana on his F1, so it has an unquestioned race pedigree. Felt’s best UHC carbon fiber is enhanced with NanoTube technology for incredible lightness, and uses Felt’s proprietary InsideOut molding process. With a nominal weight of 792 grams for a 56cm frame, the F1 is a featherweight road warrior. The fork is a tapered 1 1/8"-to-1.5" for enhanced control, and is an all-carbon construction from steerer to dropout, weighing only 304 grams.

Shimano’s finest Di2 Dura-Ace components are found throughout the bike, including the derailleurs, shifters, brake calipers, chain, 11-23T cassette and 53/39T crankset. The Tour de France-tested Di2 technology has proven to give every ride who tries it perfect shifting. Every. Single. Time. No matter how powerful the rider, now matter how steep the hill, no matter how tired your fingers, the servo-motor equipped drivetrain will execute a perfect shift with lightning speed, front or rear. Power is supplied by a lithium-ion battery under the left chainstay, and will operate up to 850-950 miles, depending on use of the more thirsty front derailleur.

The wheelset is also Shimano’s Dura-Ace WH-7900-C24 carbon/aluminum composite tubeless clincher model. Weighing only 1464 grams, these blade-spoked beauties can make uphill accelerations feel like a jet fighter launching off a carrier deck! Their quality control is one of the most rigid in the industry, with only Dura-Ace wheels built entirely by hand. Shod with Vittoria’s Diamante Pro 23mm tires and armed with a Dura-Ace 11-23T cassette, these are race-ready wheels straight out of our shop. An aluminum Devox stem and carbon Devox handlebar make up the cockpit of this amazing machine, and the 27.2mm all-carbon post is topped with a 159 gram Devox carbon-railed Team Issue saddle.
