Speed Concept triathlon bicycles are not just for elite-level pros, but for first-time triathletes as well. The Speed Concept 2.5 uses a value-packed aluminum frame for light weight and Kammtail Virtual Foil (KVF) aerodynamic shaping for your P.R. in an Olympic distance (or longer). A carbon fiber fork reduces vibration and weight, as well as using KVF shaping for even lower drag. SRAM’s 10-speed Apex derailleurs, shifters and 50/34T crankset take up drivetrain duties, and feeds your power through a SRAM 11-28T cassette for the unexpectedly steep hills along the way to transition. Blade-spoke alloy Bontrager SSR wheels are shod with 23mm R1 tires for light weight and a smooth ride quality. Alloy Bontrager Race Lite aero bars are easily adjusted for a wide range of rider fits and flexibilities, and come with replaceable pads. Even the carbon fiber Race X Lite seatpost is aerodynamically shaped and features a reversable head for ease of positioning adjustments.
