Felt keeps building cutting-edge tri-bikes with solid component builds and user-friendly adjustability. Case in point: The Felt B2.

With their B Series, Felt focused on producing a high-performance frame and fork that wouldn’t require a degree in engineering to adjust the components and sizing. The frame of the B2 is constructed with their proprietary UHC Advanced carbon fiber, allowing the bike’s designers to build a very narrow frontal profile without compromising torsional strength. The aerodynamic shape has been wind-tunnel developed, with multiple tests and re-tests to produce a frame shape that emphasizes real-world environments. The assembly process uses Felt’s InsideOut molding that eliminates excess resins and improves overall frame quality. Internal cable routing, a flush seatpost clamp and a brake caliper tucked under the bottom bracket tighten up the B2’s profile further. The fork is also built with UHC carbon fiber, soaking up fatiguing vibration.

The drivetrain of the Felt B2 features Shimano’s 10-speed Ultegra Di2 electronic derailleurs, shifters, 53-39 crankset, cassette and chain. Perfect shifting is achieved every time, no matter how steep the hill or quickly the rider’s cadence is. The front derailleur even trims itself as the chain is shifted across the cassette! Also, the shifter buttons are located at the base bar brake levers as well as the tip of the aero bar ends. This allows the rider to shift repeatedly from the base bar while sprinting out of a tight corner. Compared to riders on bikes with mechanical bar-end shifters, this is the fastest way to accelerate out of every corner. The wheelset is Felt’s own alloy deep-section TTR2 aero wheels, shod with 23mm TTR2 tires. The base bar/aero bar system sports a standard 31.8 clamp alloy stem, Bayonet 3 alloy base bar, alloy S-bend extensions adjustable forearm pads. A UHC Advanced carbon fiber seatpost with offset clamp slices the wind while dispersing vibration. There’s even an aero battery cover on the down tube and an aero bottle by TorHans included!
