An ALUXX-SL frame with hydroforming keeps the weight down while producing a super-stiff platform that helps you put power to the pedals. The huge OverDrive2 steerer tube anchors the RockShox Recon Silver fork for precise handling, even in technical rock gardens. The suspension fork itself gives 100mm of travel, and has a 15mm thru-axle to keep the front wheel tracking where you want it. The RockShox Monarch R rear suspension unit is mounted in Giant’s exclusive Maestro suspension to keep the rear wheel planted, even during uphill charges. Shimano’s 9-speed Alivio shifters operate an Alivio front derailleur and a Deore rear derailleur for quick shifting across the 22/33/44T Deore crankset and 11-34T rear cassette. Alloy S-XC2 29’er wheels are shod with 2.25” Schwalbe Racing Ralph Performance tires for confident grip in gravelly conditions. Shimano also supplies the M395 hydraulic disc brakes for reigning in your speed, even in muddy or wet conditions.
