The Felt F75X has light weight with its 7000-series aluminum frame, providing a platform that is also efficient with a BB30 bottom bracket that reduces flex in the drivetrain. The F75X’s head tube is tapered for a more direct feel in tight turns and fast descents. The F75X’s carbon fiber fork soaks up vibration effectively, reducing rider fatigue and total bike weight in equal measure. Useful additions to the frame like rear rack eyelets and two bottle mounts make the F75X a great commuter as well as a cyclocross racer. Shimano’s 10-speed 105 shifters are connected to the F75X’s 105 rear derailleur and new-for-2014 CX70 front derailleur for precise operation in messy conditions. An FSA Omega 36/46T crankset and 12-30T Shimano cassette provides a huge gearing range for attacking steep climbs and spinning along on roller-coaster road rides. Tektro cantilever brakes help reign in speed and allow for fenders or mud build-up. Felt CxR3 alloy wheels are shod with Vittoria Cross XL Pro 33mm cyclocross tires. A Prologo Nago Evo saddle, Felt alloy seat post, road handlebar and stem complete the cockpit of this quick and useful bicycle.
