Felt makes a pro-level cyclocross bike at a surprisingly affordable price. Meet the F3X.

With a UHC carbon fiber frame and fork, the F3X has weight pared down to the bone, yet has tremendous strength for uphill charges and start-line hole-shots. The tapered head tube anchors a massive down tube and BB30 bottom bracket for effective power delivery and razor-sharp handling on rough courses. The ControlTaper fork is also carbon fiber from top to fork tips for strength and lightness. Shimano’s latest 11-speed Ultegra shifters, front derailleur and Dura-Ace rear derailleur perform lightning-quick shifts, even in messy conditions. An FSA Energy 46/36T crankset is matched with an 11-28T Ultegra cassette and chain for a more useful gearing range, especially on technical courses. Braking duties are handled with TRP cable-to-hydraulic disc calipers and Ashima stainless steel rotors. The wheels are alloy Felt CxR disc-specific and tubeless-ready hoops with Vittoria Cross XL Pro tires. A Prologo Nago Evo saddle, Felt alloy stem and bar complete the cockpit of this ultra-quick ‘cross machine.
