This is one useful machine! The Trek CrossRip Elite boasts a hydroformed 100 Series Alpha aluminum frame for light weight and impressive strength for rough roads and light touring. A Bontrager Satellite Plus carbon fiber fork reduces weight further and soaks up fatiguing vibration. Need tough wheels, too? The CrossRip Elite’s 32-spoke alloy wheels are not only gravel-ready, but tubeless-ready as well. Shimano’s 9-speed Sora dual-control shifters and derailleurs make for smooth operation, even in messy conditions. A compact 50/34T FSA Vero crankset works in concert with a SRAM 11-32T cassette for ultra-steep hills. Hayes CX5 mechanical disc brakes with 160mm front/140mm rear rotors reign in speed on the way down the other side. There’s even a set of bar-top brake levers to make riding in traffic that much easier! 32mm tires, rack and fender mounts and even internal cable routing makes the CrossRip Elite an even better bike the closer you look.
