No more fooling around. This is a purebred cyclocross racing machine. The Felt F4X is not only built around a race-proven UHC Performance carbon fiber frame and fork, but it also boasts SRAM’s new 11-speed Force Cx1 drivetrain. The geometry of the F4X keeps the bike nimble in twisty, technical sections, while the BB30 bottom bracket anchors the crankset for unstoppable power delivery. The frame’s 1-1/8-to-1-1/2” tapered head tube holds the fork for more effective threshold braking. The rear derailleur cable is internally routed to keep it gunk-resistant. Even the top tube has a shoulder-friendly flattened section on the underside.

SRAM’s cyclocross-oriented Force CX1 component group omits the front derailleur, keeping toal weight down while increasing reliability on very muddy or bumpy courses. The SRAM CX1 crankset is equipped with 38T chainring, but other chainring sizes can be added (sold separately) depending on course specifics. SRAM's CX1 rear derailleur features a roller-bearing clutch that keeeps chain tension uniform for optimum shifting, even on bumpy courses and under hard pedaling loads. The rear cassette is also a SRAM component with an 11-28T cog range. SRAM Force CX1 levers feature a shifter on the right side only, while TRP’s Spyre SLC disc brakes reign in speed, even in wet conditions. The F4X’s wheels are a disc-specific Mavic Aksium ONE wheelset, wrapped with 33mm-wide Vittoria Cross XL Pros for solid grip on a wide range of courses and conditions. A Felt CxR2 seatpost is topped with a Prologo Nago Evo X8 saddle, while A Felt CXR Superlite alloy bar and stem complete this race-ready ‘cross machine.
