If you could own only one bike, which one would you choose? The CrossRip Elite is a powerful argument for the one-bike garage. The CrossRip Elite’s Alpha Gold Aluminum frame has been hydroformed for reduced weight while keeping tremendous strength and preserving nimble handling. Internal cable routing make the CrossRip an ideal machine for those who ride in sloppy conditions. Rack and fender mounts help make the CrossRIp Elite commuter-friendly. A carbon fiber fork soaks up vibration further, reducing fatigue and extending headset bearing life.
The component collection makes the CrossRIp Elite ready for rainy days, gravel roads and hilly adventures. Cable-operated Hayes CX Expert disc brakes ensure effective stopping power, rain or shine. Shimano’s 9-speed Sora components are found at the dual-conttrol shifters and derailleurs for quick operation and long service life. An FSA Vero 50/34T compact crankset and 11-32T SRAM cassette offer a massive gearing range for steep climbs and long descents. Bontrager Tubeless-ready alloy wheels are disc-specific, and are shod with treaded 32mm H5 Hard-Case Ultimate tires for confident grip and effective puncture protection. A Bontrager Evoke 1 saddle tops an alloy SSR seatpost, while a Bontrager Elite Blendr stem makes accessory installation a snap. A Race Lite IsoZone handlebar features elastomers under the thick bar tape for enhanced comfort, while bar-top auxiliary brake levers allow for a better posture in city traffic.
