The Trek Crockett 9 Disc takes the disc brake revolution to its ultimate expression with hydraulic operation and electronic shifting. Added to a refined alloy cyclocross frame and carbon fiber fork, the Crockett 9 Disc is the total package for cyclocross competition.

The Crockett’s hydroformed Alpha aluminum frame features nimble race-ready geometry for a wide range of courses, from hard and fast to muddy and hilly. A press-fit BB86.5 bottom bracket provides instant pedaling response for uphill charges and finish line sprints. The tapered E2 head tube enhances the Crockett’s handling, especially during fast turns. Flattening the bottom of the top tube makes for comfortable shouldering during run-ups. The swept blades and tall crown of the IsoSpeed fork soak up fatiguing vibration and reduce mud build-up in equal measure. A 3S chain keeper eliminates dropped chains during bumpy events, while vanishing fender mounts give the Crockett 9 Disc versatility for commuting and training.

The Crockett 9 Disc is equipped with Shimano’s 11-speed Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting technology. Ultegra Di2 derailleurs produce instant shifting, no matter what the conditions, or how high the pedaling load is. The Shimano battery is mounted on the down tube near the bottom bracket, giving the rider elbow clearance during shouldering. Battery life is between 800-900 miles between charges. The 11-28T cassette and chain are also Ultegra components for long service life and perfect operation. The FSA Energy Cross 46/36T crankset delivers power without flinching, no matter how steep the hills get. Shimano’s Di2 R785 shifters work with the R785 hydraulic brakes found at the hubs for the best stopping power in the industry. Brake lever feel is enhanced, letting the rider judge stopping distances better. HED’s Ardennes + alloy wheelset have a 25mm wide rim, keeping the tire’s profile wider and more curved for a better contact patch and enhanced handling in loose conditions. 32mm Bontrager CX3 Team Issue tires give confident grip in mud and dirt. The Ti-railed Evoke 3 saddle, 2-bolt carbon fiber seatpost, Race Lite IsoZone handlebar and Race X Lite stem complete the cockpit for a pro-level machine.
