Cyclocross bicycles have been refined over the years, but not like this! The Trek Crockett series was designed with the help of seasoned professionals, like 11-time U.S. National Cyclocross Champion Katie Compton. The Crockett's geometry has been refined for a wider range of course conditions and speeds, giving the rider more confidence. The Crockett's 200 Series Alpha Aluminum frame has been shaped and hydroformed to reduce weight while improving torsional rigidity during sprints and uphill charges. A flatter top tube makes the Crockett more comfortable to shoulder during long run-ups. Adding to the Crockett's pedaling response is a wide BB86.5 press-fit bottom bracket, reducing energy-robbing flex. In the quest to reduce weight futher, the IsoSpeed fork is fully carbon fiber, from dropouts to the top of the steerer. The IsoSpeed feature reduces vibration and improves rider fatigue on rough courses. Wide tire clearance in the frame and under the fork crown reduces the problem of mud dragging on the wheels during sloppy races. The Crockett boasts a 1-1/8"-to-1-1/2" tapered E2 head tube, giving the bike a more nimble feel on technical courses and adding stability during hard braking. Internal cable routing keeps the bike clean for carrying and improves cable and housing life. There's even a 3S chain keeper that eliminates chain drop on bumpy surfaces.

The Crockett 9 Disc is equipped with Shimano's 11-speed RS685 shifters and Ultegra derailleurs for lightning-quick operation and long service life. An FSA Energy Cross crankset runs 46/36T 'cross-ready chainrings, while an 11-28T Shimano 105 cassette brings a wide gearing range to the party. Bontrager's alloy Affinity Comp wheels are tubeless-ready and are disc-specific for reduced rotating weight. Shimano RS685 hydraulic brake calipers clamp Shimano Freeza rotors for confident stopping power. Bontrager's 32mm CX3 Team Issue tires are also tubeless-ready, and feature and aramid bead for a tight grip while under low pressure.
