The Stache 5 starts with an Alpha Platinum aluminum frame and Bontrager Bowie carbon fiber fork for impressive lightness. A clever Midstay right chainstay helps to tuck in the rear wheel for excellent power delivery, while Stranglehold adjustable rear thru-axle dropouts allow the rider to dial in the rear geometry perfectly. The E2 tapered head tube adds to the Stache 5's nimble feel, especially in rock gardens and root-covered singletrack. Internal cabel routing keep the Stache 5 looking clean while keeping cables fresher in muddy conditions. A 10-speed Shimano Deore shifter and Shadow Plus rear derailleur take on shifting duties, while a 32T RaceFace crankset and 11-36T Shimano cassette offer a massive gearing range for roller-coaster trails. 50mm-wide alloy SUNringle Mulefut rims are wrapped with 29x3.0" Bontrager Chupacabra tires for massive grip. A new Boost 148 thru-axle rear hub improves lateral wheel rigidity and handling precision in tight trails. Shimano M395 hydraulic disc brakes help keep speed reigned in. Bontrager's alloy Low Riser handlebar, alloy Elite stem, alloy seatpost and Evoke saddle complete this versatile bike.
