From across the pond comes this lightweight perfromance machine: A European-release Trek Emonda S 4.

Starting with a featherweight frame made from Trek's exclusive OCLV 300-Series carbon fiber, the Emonda shines on the climbs. But lightness is not enough. Power transfer is paramount, and the Emonda's BB86.5 press-fit bottom bracket ensures flex-free power delivery, especially during uphill efforts. Ride Tuned frame shaping gives the Emonda S 4 a smooth ride quality, making the last mile as comfortable as the first. A tapered E2 head tube anchors the carbon fork more effectively, adding a razor-sharp feel during descents and fast turns. Useful touches are found throughout the Emonda S 4 Euro, including an integrated 3S chain keeper, aperture for a DuoTrap speed/cadence sensor (sold separately), and a more upright fit.

Shimano's redesigned 10-speed Tiagra components are found across the Emonda S 4. including the adjustable-reach shifters, derailleurs, compact 50/34T crankset, 11-28T cassette, and even the new multi-pivot brake calipers. Alloy Bontrager tubeless-ready wheels feature bladed aero spokes and 23mm R1 Hard-Case Lite tires for easy acceleration and confident grip. A Bontrager Paradigm 1 saddle sit atop an alloy seatpost, while an alloy Race road handlebar and alloy Elite stem complete this race-ready machine.
