Roughr pavement is bad, but rough pavement over hours of riding and over dozens of hills can really test a rider. When Felt began producing the Z5, however, we knew they had something special for everyone that challenged themselves.

The Z5 has been part of Felt's line of endurance machines for a few years now, and they haven't changed the best parts of the bike. The frame and fork is still built from Felt's own UHC Endurance carbon fiber, producing a feather-light and incredibly strong chassis. Their InsideOut construction process ensures a minimum amount of resin is used for consistant weight and quality. The upright fit of the Z5 is tillthere, ensuring a comfortable fit for a wider range of riders and flexibilties. Longer chainstays improve stability over rough and choppy pavement. A tapered head tube adds a dash of precision to the Z5's handling, especially on fast descents. Internal cable routing gives the Z5 a sleek look while protecting brake and shifter cables from the elements.

 Shimano's 11-speed 105 components have been redesigned, requiring less hand strength to operate the derailleurs. The 105 shifters feature an adjustable lever reach, allowing smaller hands to fit comfortably. The Shimano 105 derailleurs boast lightning-quick operation, and can now accommodate an 11-32T Shimano cassette and Shimano 105 50/34T compact crankset for a huge gearing range. Dual-pivot brake calipers reign in speed, while alloy RSL3 wheels and 25mm tires add to the smooth ride. A Prologo Kappa 2 saddle sits atop a UHC Performance carbon fiber seatpost, while an alloy VariableAngle stem and alloy road handlebar complete the cockpit of this best-seller.
