27.5" wheels recently appeared on high-tech racing mountain bikes for better performance. That change can be found on affordable mountain bikes as well!

The Giant Talon 27.5 4 makes 26" wheeled bikes seem nervous on rough terrain. Every bump is handled better, and yet the bike is still light and nimble. Giant's own ALUXX-grade aluminum frame gives the Talon a lightweight chassis, ready to take on streets and trails. The Talon's SR Suntour XCT suspension fork is adjustable for a wider range of riders, and boasts 100mm of suspension travel as well as a lockout function. 8-speed Shimano shifters and derailleurs operate smoothly, while Tektro's hydraulic disc brakes reign in speed in wet or dry conditions. Alloy 27.5" wheels are shod with 2.2" wide knobby Maxxis Ikon tires for confident traction. The Talon 27.5 4 is ready for your first off-road adventure, or just a ride around town.
