The TCR Advanced Pro 1 is descended from Giant-Alpacin's WorldTour race-winning machines. No environment is tougher, no athlete is more demanding. The TCR Advanced Pro 1 is built with a proven race-ready geometry. Nimble handling and an aggressive fit allows the TCR to knife though corners and respond to breakaways with ease. Advanced-grade Composite carbon fiber is shaped to produce a light and impressively strong frame and fork, ensuring flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke. An all-carbon fork reduces weight further, and the OverDrive 2 tapered steerer bestows a precise handling quality, especially in fast turns and descents. The massive PowerCore press-fit bottom bracket anchors the crankset, allowing every last watt to power the bike, not to flex the frame like overcooked pasta. An aperture in the left chainstay allows the installation of a RideSense speed/cadence sensor (sold separately).

Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra 6800 series components have gone though a redesign, resulting in lower overall weight, easier shifting operation, better braking performance and better long-term service life. Even the dual-control shifters have an adjuster screw that replaces heavy rubber spacers. The 4-arm Ultegra 52/36T crankset improves torsional strength while subtracting 26 grams. An 11-28T Ultegra cassette allows the Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1 a wider gearing range, making steep climbs less intimidating. Giant's own P-SL0 lightweight alloy wheelset is also worthy of note, using DT Swiss Aero Competition spokes and 23mm P-SL1 aramid-bead tires. A Composite Vector aero-shaped seatpost is topped with a Fizik CX saddle, while a Contact SL alloy handlelbar and stem complete the cockpit of this race-ready bike.
