The Trek Speed Concept 9.5 WSD has been a game-changer for every one of our customers. With Trek's exclusive OCLV 600 Series carbon fiber under the paint, this triathlon machine is equal parts light and strong. The Speed Concept 9.5 WSD has kept speeds high and weight low for PR's on sprint distances and Ironman events alike. Kammtail Virtual Foil -or KVF- aerodynamics reduces weight due to a truncated airfoil shape, but still keeps drag to a minimum. That KVF shaping is also found on the Speed Concept's OCLV fork and Speed Box accessory pack. With internal cable routing, an aperture for a speed/cadence sensor (sold separately). hidden brake calipers and mounts for integrated on-bike storage, the Speed Concept 9.5 WSD has a very refined aero shape. Also, the BB90 bottom bracket ensures no energy is wasted due to a rubbery-feeling crankset.

SRAM's 11-speed Force deraillers and shifters are matched to a 52/36T SRAM Force crankset and 11-28T SRAM cassette for smooth operation and long component life. Hidden brake calipers in the fork crown and under the bottom bracket eliminate yet another drag element. Bontrager Race Lite Tubeless-ready alloy wheels and 23mm R3 tires provide a smooth road feel while a low spoke count reduces instability due to crosswinds. Bontrager also provides the Hilo RXL tri-specific saddle for all distances of events. The fully-adjustable aero bars and base bar use an aero-shaped "stem" that is integrated into the top of the fork. Different-sized spacers can be added between the aero bar and base bar for refining bike fit.
