Trek's Madone road bikes have been ridden around the world to victories big and small. We offer you a chance to own a uniquely-colored Madone 4-series

The Trek Madone went through a huge upgrade for 2016, but there were a few brand-new Madone road bikes from a previous season left at Trek. We have a handful for a few lucky owners. The Madone 4-series uses Trek's proprietary OCLV 400 Series carbon fiber throughout the frame, giving it astounding strength for such a featherweight bike. Not only is the bike lightweight, but it also benefits from an ingenious aerodynamic frame shape. Called Kammtail Virtual Foil (or KVF), the Madone 4-series has flattened trailing edges on the main triangle that reduce instability in crosswinds, but maintains very low frontal aerodynamic drag. A BB90 bottom bracket anchors the crankset, reducing energy-robbing frame flex. The Madone also features an E2 tapered head tube that enhances front-end rigidity, adding a razor-sharp feel in high-speed corners and fast descents. Useful touches are found throughout the Madone, including internal cable routing, an aperture for an ANT+ speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) in the left chainstay, and an integrated and adjustable chain keeper at the bottom bracket.

This Madone 4-series is equipped with Shimano's 11-speed Shimano Ultegra 6800 components throughout the drivetrain. The most recent update to Ultegra drivetrain components include easy adjustment of the lever reach, a 20% reduction in hand effort needed to shift, and a lighter, stiffer crankset. Shimano 105 multi-pivot brake calipers provide effective lever feedback for threshold braking and longer pad life. Shimano's alloy RS11 wheelset boasts bladed spokes and a tall crown for enhanced aerodynamics. A Selle Italia Nekkar saddle sits atop an alloy Bontrager seatpost, while an alloy FSA stem clamps an alloy Bontrager road handlebar with a tapered top.
