The Giant TCX SLR 2 brings a competitive package to your next 'cross race. Lightness, nimble handling, and an excellent parts spec all work together to make a fantastic CX race bike in general, not just a great bike for your money.

The TCX SLR starts with a strong chassis: Giant's own ALUXX-SLR aluminum frame. With advanced hydroforming and incredibly tight welds, the TCX SLR 2's frame keeps weight low for attacking steep hills and easier carrying on staircases. A flattended top tube is more comfortable when shouldering the bike on muddy run-ups. Internal routing keeps shifter cables clean in sloppy conditions. A super-stiff pres-fit bottom bracket anchors the crankset for flex-free power delivery; especially useful during charges into the first turn. A tapered OverDrive steerer tube holds an Advanced-grade Composite fork. 12mm thru-axles front and rear not only keep the disc brake rotors positioned and centered perfectly with every wheel change, but also improve torsional strength throughout the whole bike.

Shimano's 11-speed 105 adjustable-reach shifters and derailleurs give the TCX SLR 2 excellent functionality and durability: Something that every 'cross racer demands in the heat of battle. An FSA Omega crankset with a 46/36T chainring combination is paired with an 11-28T Shimano 105 cassette, offering classic cyclocross gearing. TRP's Spyre cable-operated disc brakes provide effective stopping power, even in wet and muddy conditions. Giant's own alloy SX-2 disc-specific wheels are shod with 35mm Schwalbe Super Swan 'cross tires, adding confident grip as well as low rotating weight. An ingenious D-shaped composite seatpost -known as D-Fuse- adds an extra dose of vertical compliance to take the edge off rough courses and broken pavement. Topped by a Giant Contact saddle and paired with an alloy Connect handlebar and stem, the cockpit of the TCX SLR 2 is hard to improve upon.
