Bontrager Ion 700 R

Looking for a powerful light that is easy to use? The Ion 700 will do all that and more!

The night can be a scary place. But then again, so can the daytime. Bontrager's Ion 700 headlight makes both easier to navigate. 700 lumens is plenty of light, and you get it for 1-3/4 hours with a full charge. If your commute home is in total darkness, this isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity. Illuminating the bike path or road in front of you with that much light keeps you from hitting fresh potholes, raccoons and even other cyclists. Being seen is good, but seeing where you are going -sometimes at over 20mph- is even better. During the day, the Ion 700 can be seen up to 1.5 kilometers (nearly a mile!) away! A jumpy flash pattern gets the attention of distracted drivers sooner, allowing them to react with enough time after they see you. The flash function can run up to 22 hours on a single charge, allowing a daytime rider several days of riding before needing a recharge.

The Ion 700 features side marker lights that tell traffic at intersections you're out there, too. 270 degrees of visibility is better than just a spotlight that faces forward, y'know? Ther Ion 700 mounts on just about any handlebar with a stretchy silicone strap that can adjust to different diameters, and is completely tool-free. Recharging is done with a micro USB cable (included), and takes about 5 hours from a completely drained battery. The battery port has a rubber cover, and the whole light is rain-resistant.
