Quieter than a motorcycle, smoother than a touring bike and ready for winter conditions, the Outfitter brings outstanding versatility to the game. 4"-wide Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tires boast massive grip and the ability to float over sticky mud and snow with ease. Helping you to put power to those tires is a crank-mounted 350W Bosch power-assist motor. With fingertip controls, the rider can select how much boost the Bosch unit can provide. A removeable and rechargeable 400Wh battery on the down tube has a charge level indicator on the bottom, making recharges a snap. A backlit handlebar-mounted Bosch contol panel displays basic bike computer functions (speed, miles covered, time of ride, etc.) as well as 4 levels of power assist and remaining range. Up to 57 power-assisted miles can be covered with a fully charged battery. Neat, huh? The power-assisted top speed of the Outfitter is limited to 20mph, but descents or sprints on pavement are just as fast as you want them to be like any classic human-powered bicycle.

The Outfitter's "regular" components are far from regular: SRAM's 11-speed X1 shifter and rear derailleur are ready for the rough-and-tumble world of off-road riding, while a massive 10-42T SRAM cassette boasts a huge gearing range. An aluminum crankset runs a single 15T cog, giving the cargo-carrying Outfitter plenty of cargo-ready gearing. Felt's own 80mm wide alloy wheels are mounted in the rugged aluminum frame and fork with thru-axles, adding to the Outfitter's handling precision. Helping to reigning in speed is the job of SRAM's Guide hydraulic disc brakes. Braking in snow, mud or rain isn't a problem with 180mm SRAM rotors. Internal cable routing keeps cables out of the weather, while a tapered head tube improves handling further.

Old Man Mountain touring racks are found front and rear, boosting the Outfitter's carrying capacity, while a comfy WTB Silverado Race saddle, alloy seatpost, alloy MTB stem and alloy handlebar complete the package.

A Bosch battery recharger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.
