This isn't a road bike pretending to be a gravel-grinding adventure machine. The Topstone is the real deal. Cannondale's SmartForm C2 aluminum alloy is used to build a featherweight and very stable chassis, giving the bike a confident personality on rough pavement and unpaved surfaces alike. Mounts for bottle cages, racks, fenders and bags are found throughout the Topstone AL, adding to the bike's versatility. Internal cable routing gives the bike a sleek look, too. A carbon fiber fork soaks up vibration as well as reducing overall weight. Shimano's 9-speed Sora components handle gear change duties with ease across a 46/30T crankset and 11-3T cassette. Cable-operated Promax Decoder R disc brakes make speed control especially easy, even in wet conditions. Alloy wheels are wrapped with WTB's now-legandary 700x37c Riddler Comp tires. A Cannondale Ergo Stage saddle and alloy drop bar with a 16 degree flare complete the cockpit of the Topstone AL Sora.
