Details
This is a 1998 Salsa Ala Carte Mountain bike. This bike is a very nice smooth riding Columbus steel tubed bicycle featuring Ritchey dropouts and quality tig welding at the joints and was handmade by Salsa in Petaluma CA USA. This bike was originally sold as a frame set and would be built up to the clients specifications, original frame equipment options offered either a Ritchey fork or the Rock Shock fork that is equipped on this particular bike. As for the remaining component specs please see our details below. This bike is in great shape with no significant scratches dings or dents although Ala Cart Stickers are a little scratched up and their are two small chips in the paint just rear of the stickers (please see photographs for details). Mechanically this bike has been professionally tuned by one our shops mechanics and upon reassembly is ready to ride (there is a crack in the front hub which although rideable we'd advise it's replacement, please see photographs). This frame is not built to accept disk brakes.
