Details
You are buying a unique custom bicycle. The frame is a vintage Schwinn frame, likely built 1975 based on the serial number. It is not a Schwinn Tempo frame, but was repainted with new (inaccurate) decals applied . The bike is black with gold trim and chrome fork; paint is in great shape.
Along with the interesting frame, this bike comes with a great set of components. A Cinelli Rossin pantographed stem and Cinelli Campione del mondo bars with cool leather grips make up the cockpit. Shimano 600 components make up most of the rest of the bike; including headset, brake levers, brakes, downtube shifters, front derailleur, crank (with Bio Pace 53/42 chainrings), chain and hubs. The rear derailleur is Dura Ace as is the 6spd Cassette. Rims are Nisi tubulars with Panaracer tires glued on. Lastly, an awesome San Marco Rolls leather saddle.
Also unique on the bike is an integrated cateye computer. Cables for the computer are internally routed through the frame to speed and cadence sensors. This was an aftermarket upgrade. Unfortunately, the CPU for the computer is missing.
Despite its peculiarity, this bike comes together great and makes for one nicely spec'd ride. It has been recently tuned up and is in riding shape.
