You could be the proud owner of this vintage, lightly used Schwinn Run-A-Bout. Hand built in Chicago Il, USA in March of 1970 this unique folding bike features Schwinn signature mini-sting ray features and a whole lot more! Designed as a one size fits all folding bicycle the Run-A-Bout features a Mini Sting-Ray frame, dual 16" wheels, a 3 speed internally geared hub, easy folding seat and handlebar mechanisms, all chrome ape hanger handlebars and matching chrome fenders. Braking power is provided by both front and rear caliper brakes.
BIKE CONDITION
Unfortunately the saddle is not original but the remainder of the bike is as it would have been right off the showroom floor in 1970. The Sierra Brown paint job is still in excellent shape and the chrome is not pitted on any of the parts.
This bicycle has not been tuned by our shops mechanics so we'd advise a full tune up before riding. This bike is sold as-is, please see photographs for details.
