This is a vintage road bicycle frame.

There are very few actual references on the frame as to the exact manufacturer or model.  It's quite evident that the frame has been re-painted but otherwise the frame has some minor surface corrosion but no thru rust of any sort.  The front fork is just slightly bent although it's tough to tell even with a wheel in fork.  Lug work is nice and somewhat ornate particularly around where the head badge should be.  There are a couple of indicators of the manufacturers origin, in particular the Yuko Cold forged rear drop outs.  After a couple hours of google searches, forum ramblings and further google searches we've come to realize that the frame is a Campania, made in Japan, basically the quintessential late 1960's to 1970's Italian Japanese knock-off down to the name, the most conclusive reference was on Velobase's website where they have a Campania where the head tube lugs are identical to this model.  Geometry is a little funny, the top tube center to center measures out at 56 cm, while the seat tube top to center measures out at 59cm.  Appears to fit 700c tires.  Frame, fork, and head set weigh in at 8.2 lbs.
