This is a vintage 1973 Motobecane Nomade Frame Set.

Frame is silver in color, the paint is in decent shape however there is speckled dings and some areas of spotty surface corrosion.  Constructed with 1020 Steel forks, tubes, and stays.  Made in France!  The frame features simple but nice lugwork and the head badge is still in nice shape.  Included in auction is a Tange 35 x P1 square taper bottom bracket (from feel will need new bearing and fresh grease) and an unmarked head set (needs bearings).  Drive side rear drop-out is bent and will need to be finagled back into place.  Seat post clamp binder is missing.  Perfect fixie build or with a little tlc could become a nice looking road bike.

Dating on this frame is actually stamped beneath the upper head set cup ("73") which also matches catalog prints we've seen.

"61" is stamped above the lower head set bearing cup.

This frame is serial #88516 (non drive-side inner rear drop-out), 3863820 (stamped on the bottom bracket).

Top tube measures 59cm center to center.

Seat tube measure 61cm Top to Center.
