You could be the proud owner of this rare vintage Mead Ranger Truss Bridge Bicycle. The truss bridge Meads are a lot harder to come by these days... This particular one is waiting for you to love and restore it. The frame has been re-welded at the bottom bracket. Nice wide Torrington delivery handlebars and a nice riser stem. This bicycle comes with an original 1918 Mead Ranger Catalog with a dealer wholesale price list.
BIKE CONDITION:
This bicycle was well used but still solid. Parts of the frame and fenders have been painted black but you can still see the original Mead red/maroon and cream colors showing through. The nickel plating is non existent and covered with rust. The metal clad wood rims are still straight. Seat has been recovered and is well worn.
