This is a Vintage 1925 Iver Johnson Model 216 womens bicycle. This bicycle was part of the Schwinn Museum collection, #308. The original museum cards are included with the bicycle. This bicycle has the original sale id card from the original bicycle shop and the original steel advertising plate mounted to the rear fender. The plate reads "Von der Linden's Sporting Goods -Toys - Radios - Poughkeepsie, NY. The metal card is in excellent shape.
The original fenders are in excellent shape and even have the string skirt guard.
Overall excellent paint. Blue and with white spears, white diamonds on the downtube, some pinstriping still on the front fender. The lower headset cup is painted blue - original?
This bicycle was made in Fitchburg, Massachusets by Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works.
Amazing piece of history.
**Missing the original chainguard, rack, and any reflectors.
