You could be the proud owner of this vintage used Schwinn Super Sport road bicycle. Built in Chicago, USA in March of 1973 this classic bike is quite clean and appears to be all original with the exception of the new Kenda tires. This quality bike features 27" chrome wheels, a Brooks saddle, a chrome lugged fork and a 10 speed Schwinn drive train with dual derailleurs.

BIKE CONDITION

The bike is nearly as it would have been right off the showroom floor in 1973 with some minor exceptions. The yellow paint job is still in good shape with some wear, corrosion and scratches typical for a bike of this age. The chrome is in good condition with some light pitting that could be taken off with some steel wool and a little effort. The bike is free of major bends, dents and cracks.

This bike has been fully overhauled right down to re-greasing and packing of the bearings (hubs, bottom bracket and headset) by a shop mechanic with many years of experience. Then the bike was given a thorough eighty three point inspection by the owner. Finally the owner rides the bicycle in every gear checking steering, braking, and shifting. After you receive this bicycle minimal adjustments and assembly will be needed to be ready to ride.
