Details
You are buying a vintage Coronado ladies town and city bicycle. This bike features solid lugged steel construction typical of 1980s European city bikes. It comes equipped with Weinmann brake levers and calipers, a Sakae Ringyo stem, and Sachs Huret shift levers for the 2-speed Sachs Orb rear hub as well as a Shimano SIS system with handlebar mounted shift lever and a Shimano 7SIS derailleur for the 6-speed freewheel. It also has a GT7 Professional saddle made in France, Esge ribbed fenders and an Esge rear rack made in Germany. A bonus: there is a front tire sidewall Union dynamo to power the fork-mounted headlight and tail light.
This tourist bike is in very good condition with only slight damage to the pearl paint job. The decals have been scratched and are peeling off. The grips are not original and are too long for the space allowed on the handlebars. The black vinyl saddle is not ripped but it has seen some wear. Both the Sachs Huret and Shimano shifting mechanisms work. The dynamo generator does not work, however. The rear fender is cracked and the tires are beginning to crack.
