Details
This is a Vintage Manton & Smith with the Bike-Lok front fork. We believe that the bike should be dated to around mid-1940. This model has the Morrow Eclipse rear hub with very worn writing on the hub itself - can't read the hub well enough to date it. The bike does have some very specific features - a unique chainring and also a very rare fork stay brace.
The original tires are missing and were replaced with middleweight tires - 26 x 1.75
This bicycle has the Bike-Lok locking fork. No key, but fork is unlocked.
Bike is painted blue.
All chrome painted silver.
Small dent on the middle tube near the headtube.
Take notice of the bent fork. Can be repaired, with some effort.
